The best of Freize Art Fair 2008

Sculpted

This piece was so intricate, if you look closer each fragment is on a different length pin giving the different depths...

These tiny models are reminiscent of my brothers warhammer figuirines, however, these are more grotesque! The detail is amazing...

Reminds me of the brilliant painter/sculptor H.R. Giger, renown for the sets in Alien

OBJECTS/3D
These are smoking cubicals with seats, bins, water containers and pipes to send the smoke o outside the freize art fair tent. I think they are brilliant.

Life size toy soldiers!

Ring a ring o roses..

David Lachapelle

Alive?

This was brilliant, give money to a great cause, long live MS-DOS!

PHOTOGRAPHY Cindy Sherman

beautifully simple black and white photographs, the grey space is actually all silver pen

Matthew Barney, renown for the film series 'The Cremaster Cycle', i love this guys work! I more recently saw his work in a contemporary gallery in Oslo as part of an exhibition called ' Meet me round the corner' his work varies so much, it is surreal and phenomenal.

Andy Warhol

This became a photograph when photographed. It is actually painted grey and black lines that are abstract to the naked eye. Something similar happened earlier this year when i visited a Sagmeister exhibition in New York. A wall of bananas to the the naked eye, yet through the lens there was another message..

Stefan Sagmeister
